Hats

This is the cap you may have seen in some of the JRB videos. The WTF camo pattern is quite cool!

Pants

Truewerk T2’s These pants were recommended by my buddy who works in construction and I love them. (I can’t stop wearing them, lol.) Super comfortable, water resistant, rugged, not easily snagged by briars, and breathable enough to wear well in both hot and cold conditions. The pocket configuration is great for a saddle hunter, with different side pockets on each side. The left one stays shut with Velcro and the right one allows a phone to be slipped in an out easily while in a saddle. They are designed in the USA and I like the company profile: https://truewerk.com/pages/about

Wrangler ATG Pants In terms of the most lightweight and least bulky choice, the ATG’s are very light and breathable in hot weather and have a handy side pocket which is very useful as a climber where getting into conventional pockets is a hassle. Unfortunately, they are not rugged: one walk through the briar patch will likely cause permanent damage.

Boots

Mudrucker Boots JRB wore a pair of these for literally 10 years before they finally sprung a leak. They outlasted multiple pairs of other brands.

Boot Covers

Arctic Shield Boot Covers work great in cold weather. I carry them to my tree and put them on before I start my climb.

Coveralls

ScentLok Lightweight Coveralls JRB has been wearing a pair of these coveralls for a very long time. Coveralls are perfect for a saddle hunter because they don’t ride up and cover our entire body. And although we can never completely beat the nose of a whitetail, it’s JRB’s assessment that the technology works.
