Knots and Knot Tying – Note that the JRB Hitch and JRB Ascender Hitch have dedicated playlists. |

Lifeline/Tether & Rappel Systems JRB recommends a Lifeline, not a Tether, and urges all saddle hunters to have a plan for rappel, even if only in an emergency. |

Safety, Recovery & Self Rescue – Take time to consider what can go wrong and how to recover. |
JRB Universal System – For those who prefer not to tie knots at the tree, this system has all the knots pre-tied allowing the user to climb using different methods: DSRT, Hitch Climbing or SRT. If JRB could only carry one system with me on a hunting trip, this would be the system. |
JRB DSRT – JRB’s original Doubled Stationary Rope Technique (originally called the JRB Climbing Method) which was the motivation for the creation of the channel. |
JRB SRT – In this playlist, JRB addresses a set of evolving scenarios demonstrating non-mechanical systems applied in Single Rope Technique (SRT). |
JRB Hitch Climbing – an original climbing method; no throwball involved. |
JRB Ascender Hitch – an original friction hitch. Playlist captures the evolution and variations. See the Knot Tying Playlist for recommended versions. |
JRB Hitch – An original knot, an exploding, quick release hitch with so many applications. Playlist captures the evolution and variations. See the Knot Tying Playlist for the recommended version. |
Testing – Various tests conducted by JRB on designs, some of which were prescribed by members of the IGKT during the process of reviewing a new knot. |
